This is a very special year for Catholics all around the world. This year's theme is 'Pilgrims of Hope' and gives us an opportunity to renew our commitment to justice and redouble our efforts to make change in the world. 

It's an important time for SCIAF since we're also celebrating our 60th anniversary! Six decades have passed since we were born in a classroom in Rutherglen, just five miles from our current home here on the banks of the Clyde. Our founders' aim was simple: to reach out with love to people living in the world's poorest places, and inspire Scottish Catholics to respond to Jesus' call for a just world.

With your continued love and kindness, we can help change millions more lives, bringing about lasting solution and a brighter future.
