Bearing Fruit - A Primary resource exploring Pentecost and the Fruits

With 5 activities plus an additional activity for those preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, this resource explores the work of SCIAF around the world and the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Links to TIOF are referenced in the lesson plan.

Galatians 5: 22-23

The activities look at how SCIAF helps communities to grow fruit for physical nourishment, then explores what the Bible tells us about 'fruit' in relation to our Christian characteristics.

There are several opportunities for prayer and reflection including a prayer tree activity to create a visual display of prayers. As an additional activity, pupils can read about the Pentecost story and link the gifts of the Spirit to SCIAF’s work.
