Supporters have a ball at SCIAF's Gala Dinner

Our first ever Gala Dinner was a great success, raising thousands to help some of the world’s poorest people to get the help they need to work their way out of poverty.
The inaugural event was held on Saturday 4th November at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. It included a charity auction with a rare Celtic Opus, and signed limited edition prints by John Bellany and Aladair Gray, as well as a raffle, three course meal and a dance. The auction and raffle alone raised a fantastic £5,900.
BBC Scotland's sports presenter David Currie was compere for the evening and blue grass band The Okeyfenoke Reunion provided music.
The black tie event was attended by SCIAF’s Bishop President Joe Toal, Archbishop Leo Cushley and Archbishop Emeritus Mario Conti. It was a wonderful opportunity for supporters to come together to celebrate the millions of lives they’ve changed over the years, as well as reflect on what more we can do to help people in need survive and thrive.
