Your Second Chance to Hold a 4th Sunday Collection!
11 August 2020
Our huge thanks to everyone who has supported our work, especially during this difficult period – we couldn’t have done it without you.
We are delighted to share news that if your parish wishes to hold a rescheduled 4th Sunday collection, the UK government has confirmed that any monies from collections can still be doubled. This also applies to money raised through the WEE BOXES.
We request that any rescheduled collections are held on Sunday 6th September, although, if not possible, it could be at a later date in that month. However, please ensure any money raised is sent to SCIAF within 30 days so that it can be doubled as part of UK Aid Match and help make twice the difference!
We realise that you may have sent in your parish’s Lenten donations already, or you may be focused on securing funding for your own parish at this time. Please don’t feel you have to do more. We only want to make sure that you are aware of this ‘second chance’ opportunity in case you are able to participate.
Thank you again for supporting SCIAF’s mission to help the poorest people around the world out of poverty.
